dc.description.abstract | This study aims to examine the story of the monologue script Amir and Akhir Sebuah Syair written by Iswadi Pratama. The theory used in this study is structural theory that focuses on intrinsic elements and postcolonial theory that focuses on mimicry and ambivalence. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data used is a text sourced from the monologue script Amir and Akhir Sebuah Syair written by Iswadi Pratama. The data collection technique used in this study is the reading, listening and note-taking technique. The analysis technique used in this study is the analysis of the text in the monologue script story Amir and Akhir Sebuah Syair. The results of this study indicate that there are intrinsic elements with the theme of resistance in realizing freedom from all repressive actions. There are 3 characters and characterizations, with data of 1 character acting as a protagonist, 1 antagonist, 1 deuteragonist. The plot used is a mixed plot. By using a timeline of 7 data, a setting of 6 data and there are 2 data on socio-culture. The point of view used in this story is the main character. The message found in this script is that if someone wants to be considered good and great, he must complete his tasks properly and correctly. That person will be able to attract attention from the people around him. There are 3 acts of mimicry that occur in the text carried out by Tengku Amir Hamzah, the Langkat kingdom community which is a unity of several non-dominant figures and the pro-republic community which is a group of people who come in colonies. The mimicry carried out is in the form of harassment, kidnapping and robbing. The attitude of ambivalence is carried out in the form of doubt and coercion. | en_US |
