So as much as possible, you have to be very careful with the contents of the laboratory, from the tools to the materials used during the formulation period because the level of risk is very high. The general purpose of this study is to identify potential chemical hazards and their impact on laboratory worker accidents at PT Jampalan Baru Tanjung Balai in 2024. This research is a univariate research. The objects in this study include the chemicals used by workers in the formulation in the laboratory of PT Jampalan Baru, the use of chemicals used by workers in 6 laboratory workers in the form of Sodium Hydroxide, Cocamidropyl Betaine, Linear Benzene Sulfonate. By identifying the methods and use of chemicals used by workers in the laboratory and the impact of chemicals on work accidents in laboratory workers of PT. Jampalan Baru by way of observation.
