Implementasi Pelayanan Kesehatan Ibu Hamil Terhadap Capaian Standar Pelayanan Minimal di Puskesmas Kotapinang Tahun 2024

Abstract

Health services for pregnant women are antenatal services that must be conducted according to standards, which refer to the minimum conditions that must be met for the community to ensure the provision of quality health services in both quantity and quality. Minimum Service Standards (SPM) are regulations regarding the types and quality of basic services that are mandatory government responsibilities provided to every citizen at a minimum. This study was conducted at the Kotapinang Health Center with the aim of analyzing how the implementation of health services for pregnant women relates to the achievement of SPM at the Kotapinang Health Center. This is a qualitative study with 4 informants. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Minimum Service Standards for health services for pregnant women at the Kotapinang Health Center is not optimal. Health workers have not met the established standards. The availability of goods and equipment has not met the standards in the implementation of SPM for pregnant women due to the lack of Td vaccines and Blood Supplement Tablets, as well as the unavailability of risk detection tools for pregnant women. The health center only has one ultrasound device, which is a pregnancy ultrasound. Data collection on pregnant women still has challenges, namely the lack of public awareness in conducting examinations at the Health Center and time constraints by the health workers on duty. Antenatal Examination has obstacles in the form of lack of knowledge of health workers in conducting counseling. The implementation of health services for pregnant women to achieve SPM needs improvement in terms of manpower, availability of goods and equipment, training for health workers, and providing education. It is hoped that the South Labuhanbatu Regency Health Office will provide training to Puskesmas officers who carry out SPM for pregnant women specifically regarding SPM materials for pregnant women and ensure the availability of adequate health tools and facilities at the Puskesmas.
