dc.description.abstract | This research was conducted in the area of Air Teluk Hessa Village, Air Batu District, Asahan Regency. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of the livestock extension workers in the Air Teluk Hessa Village and to analyze the level of satisfaction of farmers with the performance of the extension workers in the research area. The determination of the research area was carried out purposively, that is, it was chosen deliberately with the consideration of farmers in the research area. Determination of the sample was carried out by the Slovin method using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The number of research samples was 35 respondents. The analytical methods used are Important Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods.
The results show that the IPA (Important Performance Analysis) analysis of attributes that have high importance but are considered low in performance are things that need to be prioritized for improving their performance, namely: direct field practice, training and regular visits by extension workers according to the agreed time, seeking availability facilities and infrastructure, providing information on business opportunities and capital, easy to find and contact, and able to give special attention to certain problems. Attributes that have high performance but the interests of farmers are very low so that this attribute is considered unimportant by farmers is "handling the administration of farmer groups". The value of the satisfaction index (CSI) obtained from this study was 76%, which means that overall the farmers in the Air Teluk Hessa area expressed satisfaction with the services provided by the extension workers. | en_US |
