Analisis Penyelenggaraan Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) di Rumah Sakit Imelda Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of electronic medical records at Imelda Hospital Medan. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The selection of informants was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, and the number of informants involved in this study was 4 people. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques applied were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of electronic medical records at Imelda Hospital Medan which is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 24 of 2022 consists of 1) patient registration, 2) distribution of electronic medical record data, 3) input of payment claim data, 4) storage of electronic medical record data, 5) quality assurance of electronic medical records. Three unfulfilled track records consist of 1) filling in clinical information, 2) processing of electronic medical record information, 3) transfer of electronic medical record contents. This study shows that the Imelda Hospital Medan is still not in accordance with the PERMENKES standards and is expected to be further improved.
