Analisis Penerimaan Pemustaka terhadap Penggunaan Aplikasi E-Pusda Kota Medan Menggunakan TAM (Technology Acceptance Model)

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Library and Archives Office of Medan City.The purpose of this study is to examine users' acceptance of the e-Pusda application of Medan City using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, involving 91 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research was accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using an open-ended questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The results of the study indicate that the acceptance of the e-Pusda application of Medan City is as follows: perceived usefulness received of 74.3%, and perceived ease of use received of 73.8%. It can be concluded that the overall acceptance level of the e-Pusda application of Medan City is 74.05%. Based on these findings, it can be described that more than half of the respondents (74.3%) stated that the e-Pusda application is useful, and more than half (73.8%) stated that it is easy to use. Furthermore, it can be interpreted that more than half of the respondents (74.05%) are willing to use the e-Pusda application of Medan City. This indicates that the e-Pusda application of Medan City has successfully met the users’ primary needs by providing useful and user-friendly library services.
