A fracture or broken bone is a complete or partial disruption of the continuity of the bone structure. The causes of fractures are injuries or falls, traffic accidents and sharp or blunt trauma. Fractures can cause disability and complications. Fractures must be treated immediately so as not to cause further complications such as infection, damage to nerves and blood vessels, to further soft tissue damage and even the worst complication that can occur is death. The purpose of this writing is to describe nursing care for Post ORIF patients with supracondylar humerus fractures with monitoring fracture fomplications in room RB 3 Adam Malik Hospital Medan. The prominent results of the assessment were that the patient reported pain in the post-operative wound, the pain getting worse if the patient moved. Nursing diagnoses are acute pain, risk of infection, impaired physical mobility, constipation, knowledge deficit and self-care deficit. Most nursing interventions can be carried out in nursing implementation and nursing evaluation of nursing diagnoses that are found to be resolved well. It is hoped that room nurses can be more active in implementing and documenting to improve the quality of providing optimal nursing care to patients.
