The reduced supply of wood as a basic material for boards means that many people are now switching to concrete, where cement is one of the basic materials that is in demand by today’s people. One example of the use of concrete in buildings is gorund covering which is widely used today, such as paving block. Making paving blocks can be modified, both in terms of material and shape, which can be adjusted to suit the maker’s needs. Plastic and sawdust are materials that do not conduct heat well. These properties can be used to see whether mixing plastic and sawdust when making paving blocks can reduce heat from sunlight or not. This research was carried by making paving blocks with varying percentages of mixing raw materials between cement, sawdust and PP plastic. Then a heat resistance test and a physycal test were carried out with the result of obtaining the highest water content value in the paving block, namely the 2nd control repetition of 4,37%. The highest water absorption value was in the PB2 repeat 2 paving 3,83%. The highest density value was in the U2 control block paving specimen 3,64% and the highest concrete compression test value was in the 2nd repeat control board, amounting to 22.776 Mpa. Miniature Heat absorption made from different types of paving blocks turns out to produce control type paving blocks that are more resistant to hot weather than treated boards.
