Anxiety about dental care in parents affects the quality of life in their children. Mothers who have poor oral health generally have high anxiety about dentists and will rarely visit dental health services, thus having children with poor oral health and affecting the child's quality of life. This study aimed to determine the influence of dental care anxiety in mothers on the quality of life of children in RA. Al-Habibie. The type of research is analytical with a cross-sectional design and is taken 59 samples using simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out after preliminary data collection, then respondents were given a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form with a total of 17 questions consisting of 4 questions on the Dental Anxiety Scale index to measure the level of anxiety about dental care in mothers and 13 questions on the Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale index to measure the quality of life. child. The results of the analysis using the chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between anxiety about dental care and mothers' and children's quality of life, with a value of p=0.002. The results of the study can be concluded that anxiety about dental care in mothers affects the quality of life of children in RA. Al-Habibie Medan.
