Tebing Tinggi City is a strategic center located at the intersection of major transportation networks in Sumatra. Factors such as its location on the main crossroads, the presence of Kuala Namu Airport, and the Kuala Tanjung international port provide great potential for the city's economic and infrastructure development. In this context, the Tebing Tinggi City Medium- Term Development Plan (RPJMD) provides direction to develop the city into a service and trade center supported by quality human resources. One of the main initiatives in achieving this vision is the design of a hotel with souvenir area as a destination for visitors and tourists. However, despite its potential as a stopover city, Tebing Tinggi City still faces a lack of adequate lodging and souvenir shopping facilities. Therefore, the design of this hotel is considered as a solution to improve economic services and tourist attraction in the city. The regionalism architectural approach is used in the building design to strengthen the local cultural identity and take into account the tropical climate aspects that affect the comfort of residents and visitors. Therefore, the design is expected to not only provide a memorable experience for visitors, but also help strengthen the economy and local identity of Tebing Tinggi City.en_US
