Indonesia is facing the problem of double malnutrition (GDS), namely malnutrition consisting of two types, namely malnutrition and overnutrition. This is a major challenge for national development, especially in terms of obesity. Obesity is divided into pear and apple type obesity; apple type obesity is often referred to as central obesity, which is an apple-like shape where fat accumulates in the waist and abdominal cavity. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and lifestyle with the incidence of central obesity in woman in the PKK group in Medan Amplas District. This quantitative study used an observational analytical research design and a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all PKK mothers who were taken by accidental sampling of 61 people. The results showed that out of 61 respondents, 34 people (55.7%) had the least nutritional knowledge. A total of 40 respondents (65.6%) had implemented a healthy lifestyle. A total of 49 respondents or 80.3% were included in the central obesity category. The results of the Spearman Rank test showed a p value of 0.03 (p = <0.05).
