The prevalence of hypertension in Southeast Asia alone reaches 25.1 percent. The Indonesian Ministry of Health 2018 states that the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia has reached 34.1 percent. The number of people with hypertension in Deli Serdang Regency is 537,213 cases. Tanjung Morawa Health Center is the third highest with 33,694 cases of hypertension. This study aimed to determine the relationship of individual characteristics and physical activity with the incidence of hypertension in adulthood in the Tanjung Morawa Health Center Working Area in 2024.
