Pengelolaan Pelayanan dan Asuhan Keperawatan Klien dengan Gout Arthritis di Desa Paluh Sibaji, Kecamatan Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Gout Arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joints that is still very high and is a public health problem, especially in Indonesia with a fairly high prevalence. Increased uric acid levels in the blood (hyperuricemia) is the main factor in the occurrence of Gout Arthritis. Without effective treatment, this condition can develop into chronic gouty arthritis. The aim of this senior practicum is to apply the theory and concept of nursing care for clients with Gouty Arthritis using screening methods in the community in Paluh Sibaji Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. From the results of the uric acid screening examination, it was found that 3 respondents were in the high category. Therefore, it is necessary to provide education to prevent an increase in Gout Arthritis. After the education was carried out, the result was an increase in clients' knowledge about Gout Arthritis. It is recommended for clients to regularly check their health in an effort to prevent gout arthritis.
