Pengelolaan Pelayanan dan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Anggota Keluarga dengan Asam Urat di Kelurahan Setia Kota Binjai

Abstract

Gout arthritis is a disease that attacks the joints, caused by inscread levels of uric acid in the blood. Gout not only causes pain, buat can also cause swelling, inflammation, burning sensation and stiffness, so that sufferers cannot carry out their usual activities. The World Health Organization (2018) estimates that the number of gout sufferers worldwidw has increased by 1.370 cases (33.3%). Gout sufferers in Medan City based on diagnosis were 5.1% and based on symptoms were 17.2%. This senior practicum aims to carry our comprehensive management of nursing services and care from assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing for family members with gout. The nursing process starts from assessing individuals and families, analyzing data, formulating diagnoses, preparing nursing action plans, implementing them, then evaluating the achievements of nursing care that has been carried out showed that the pain experienced by the client was reduced, knowledge about the patient’s physical mobility was not hampered, and family knowledge about gout increased. Based on the nursing care process that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the non pharmacological therapy provided is effective in overcoming nursing problems
