Pain management is an effort that can be made to reduce pain through non-pharmacology. One approach that can be taken is ergonomic physical activity. Ergonomic exercise can reduce muscle tension and pain, improve blood circulation, relieve nervous tension, and increase concentration and focus. The aim of this scientific writing is to manage nursing care for acute pain in the elderly through ergonomic exercises to reduce pain intensity. The number of clients managed is one person. Problem solving is planned by analyzing data from pain scale measurements before and after implementing ergonomic exercises. The measurement instrument used is the Numeric Rating Scale. Ergonomic exercises were implemented for 6 days, from 22 to 27 May 2024 with a duration of 40 minutes, then pain scales and vital signs were measured. The measurement results showed that after 6 days of doing ergonomic exercises there was a decrease in pain intensity and blood pressure. Pain intensity decreased from scale 5 with blood pressure of 140/80 mmHg on the first day, to scale 3 with blood pressure of 120/70 mmHg on the sixth day. Based on the results of these measurements, it can be concluded that ergonomic exercises are effective in reducing pain intensity.
