Analisis Campur Kode dalam Lirik Lagu Stay Gold pada Album Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey oleh BTS

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of code-mixing in the lyrics of the song Stay Gold on the album Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey by BTS. The purpose of this research is to identify various code mixes and the background that causes the use of code mixes in song lyrics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research is song lyrics sourced from the song Stay Gold. From the song lyrics found 13 data whose lyrics contain code mix. The results of this study show that there are 5 word-shaped code mix data, 3 phrase-shaped code mix data, and 5 clause-shaped code mix data. The code mix that appears the most is in the form of words and clauses. The causes of the use of code mix were found in 6 data on the limited use of code and 7 data on the use of terms that are more popular than other languages.
