Hubungan Edukasi Kesehatan Mental terhadap Pengetahuan Pengikut Instagram @mimashifa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between mental health education and the knowledge of Instagram followers of @mimashafa. The research method used is quantitative, explanatory, and correlational. The population in this study consists of the 122,000 followers of the Instagram account @mimashafa as of June 28, 2024. A sample of 100 people was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. In this study, the researcher employed a Non-Probability Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire. The researcher conducted a series of data analysis techniques, including validity tests, reliability tests, single-table analysis, cross-table analysis, and hypothesis testing using Spearman’s rank- order correlation coefficient. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between mental health education and the knowledge of Instagram followers of @mimashafa. This relationship includes media exposure indicators such as frequency, duration, and attention. The level of knowledge analyzed includes cognitive,affective, and psychomotor effects.The correlation is supported by a correlation coefficient of 0.698.
