Relevansi Kata Kunci Pengarang dengan Indeks yang Dihasilkan Hukum Zipf pada Artikel Jurnal Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relevance of keywords obtained from word ranking using Zipf's law with the author's keywords. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research using bibliometric measurement, namely Zipf's Law. The population in this study consists of articles from the Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology from 2021 to 2023, with a total of 96 softcopy articles. Furthermore, the sample in this study used the entire population. The results obtained from indexing using Zipf's law showed that the generated index is a single index. Based on the results obtained from the relevance calculation, indexing using Zipf's law on all the articles had a Higher Relevance level than the level of Irrelevance. This is demonstrated by the data calculation, where the Relevance level is 59%, while the Marginal Relevance level is 18%, and the Irrelevance level is 23%. In conclusion, the subject index of the author's keywords showed a good level of relevance to the subject index generated by Zipf's law.
