    Abstract
Bullying is an intentional act of physical or verbal violence carried out by a person or group tending to hurt another person. Bullying has a negative impact on both the perpetrator and the victim. The impacts that can arise include feelings of anxiety, depression and can end in suicide. The perpetrator will have a strong character and feel they have power, while the victim will depend on the actions they have received. If the action is more extreme, the victim will take revenge on the perpetrator of violence in a more extreme form and the person experiencing violence will turn into a perpetrator of violence. Violence that continues to be allowed will have a negative impact on the child's growth and can cause other problems in the child's life for both the perpetrator and the victim. This research method is quantitative descriptive. This research aims to identify the knowledge of students at the MAN 1 Medan school regarding bullying. The respondents of this research were 308 Man 1 Medan students who were obtained using a sampling method using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results of the research show that the majority of Man 1 Medan students have good knowledge about bullying (52.9%), live with a family of 256 people (83.1%) with the majority of family income < UMR IDR 3,769,082 as many as 256 people and parents who work as many as 162 people. Adolescence (18-20 years) is marked by preparation for the role of an adult and responsible person. Teenage girls generally have thoughts regarding beauty standards where they desire a well- proportioned and beautiful body, when they have reached these standards and see that their friends do not meet their standards, they will automatically mock, curse and badmouth them.
