dc.description.abstractSymptom of depression is a condition characterized by the feelings of sadness and stress. Particularly in Nursing students, this condition can be triggered by the number of tasks given by lecturers, study schedules, lab skills, practicums, osce, and exams. These conditions can lead to of sadness, frequent crying, increased irritability, anxiety, and a sense of being hurt or frustrated over small problems. This research aims to describe the symptoms of depression in Nursing students of Universitas Sumatera Utara. The research uses descriptive design and the samples are made up of 385 students. Data is collected using questionnaires. The research results indicate that 278 Nursing students (72.2%) experience mild levels of depression symptoms. It is expected that students utilize counseling services to share their emotions, with the aim of reducing depression among them over time.en_US
