dc.description.abstractNutritional fulfillment during pregnancy can have a significant impact on the health of both the mother and the baby. Adequate intake of macronutrients such as energy, carbohydrates, protein, and fats during pregnancy is crucial for maintaining maternal health and supporting fetal growth. Inadequate nutritional intake can have substantial effects on fetal health and pregnancy outcomes. This study aims to assess the nutritional intake of pregnant women. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study includes pregnant women within the working area of Hamparan Perak Public Health Center. The sample was determined using total sampling, resulting in 54 pregnant women. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and presented in percentages. The instrument used was a 24-hour food recall form. The results showed that among pregnant women in the second trimester, 69.7% did not meet their caloric intake, 84.8% did not meet their carbohydrate intake, 42.4% did not meet their protein intake, and 27.3% did not meet their fat intake. Among pregnant women in the third trimester, 71.4% did not meet their caloric intake, 85.7% did not meet their carbohydrate intake, 61.9% did not meet their protein intake, and 47.6% did not meet their fat intake.en_US
