Hubungan Pengetahuan Kesehatan Reproduksi dengan Sikap Pernikahan Dini Remaja Putri di YPI Ar-Rahman Desa Kota Datar

Abstract

A female teenager usually has limited knowledge about reproductive health and about the ideal age for getting married. It can be caused by her lack of health education on reproductive health, either from her school or from her own family. Some risks which can occur caused by early marriage on reproductive health, among others, are anemia, abortion, preeclampsia, cervical cancer, and prolonged labor. The purpose of the research is to find out the correlation of the knowledge about reproductive health with attitude toward early marriage in female teenagers at the YPI Ar-Rahman, Kota Datar Village. The research uses a descriptive correlation method with cross sectional design. The population is the female students of (Junior High School) SMP and (Senior High School) SMA YPI Ar-Rahman, and 112 of them are used as the samples, taken by using stratified random sampling technique. The result of the research shows that 63.4% of the respondents have good knowledge, 50% of the respondents have a positive attitude while 50% of the respondents have a negative attitude. The data are analyzed by using univariate and bivariate analysis with Spearman correlation test which shows that p-value =0.000 (<0.05) which indicates that the knowledge about reproductive health is correlated with the attitude toward early marriage in female teenagers at the YPI Ar-Rahman, Kota Datar Village. It is recommended that the next researchers use the result of this research as the additional information and reference by adding other variables and doing deeper analysis.
