Perbandingan Pemenuhan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi pada Perpustakaan Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan dan Perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi

Abstract

This aimed to know the compliance of National Library Standard of Higher Education 13 : 2017 between library University of HKBP Nommensen and library University of Pembangunan Panca Budi. The research method in this research is a comparative descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques were by observing, interviewing, and taking archives (documentation). The data collected is primary data obtained from informants and secondary data obtained from journals, books, and others. The determination of the informant is in accordance with the indicators mastered by the informant. The informants in this research are the Head of the Library, Librarian and library technical staff Meanwhile, data analysis techniques went through the stages of description, reduction and selection. Research result showed that the compliance of National Library Standard of Higher Education 13 : 2017 between library University of HKBP Nommensen and library University of Pembangunan Panca Budi based on six indicators, they are: 1) collection standards; 2) standards of facilities and infrastructure; 3) service standards; 4) staff standards; 5) implementation standards; and 6) management standards. The conclusion of this research is that there are differences to meet the indicator of National Library Standard of Higher Education 13 : 2017 on collection standard, facilities and infrastructure, services and staff between Library University of HKBP Nommensen and Library University of Pembangunan Panca Budi. Final result showed that the compliance of National Library Standard of Higher Education 13 : 2017 is superior of library University of HKBP Nommensen with a percentage difference of 11.3%. The total of compliance of National Library Standard of Higher Education 13 : 2017 between library University ofHKBP Nommensen is 83,7% and library University of Pembangunan Pan ca Budi is 72,4%.
