Pengaruh Fasilitas Perpustakaan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna di Perpustakaan Universitas HKBP Nommensen

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of library facilities on user’s satisfaction at the HKBP Nommensen University Library. The research method employs a quantitative approach of a causal associative type. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and observations, with research instrument testing including validity and reliability tests. The data analysis conducted includes: Descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis were conducted using SPSS Statistics Version 23. The research results indicate that the F-value is 101.241 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that library facilities as a whole have a significant impact on library user satisfaction. The results of the determination test show that library facilities can explain 50.8% of the variation in user satisfaction. The Adjusted R Square value is slightly lower, at 50.3%. However, this result still indicates that the model is fairly strong in explaining the relationship between library facilities and user satisfaction. More than half of the variation in user satisfaction can be explained by the quality of the existing library facilities. The results of the study showed that library facilities had an influence on user satisfaction at the HKBP Nommensen University Library.
