    Abstract
Wide and equitable immunization coverage is needed to obtain Herd immunity. The data of World Health Organization states that Indonesia is in 3rd place in the world in terms of children who have not received basic immunization. The objective of this research is to explore the experiences of mothers who do not carry out basic immunization measures for their children aged 0-24 months in Tandem Hilir 1 village. This research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Participants in this research are mothers who have never provided basic immunizations to their children aged 0-24 months in Tandem Hilir 1 Village. Four participants are selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data are collected using in-depth interview methods. The instrument of this research is an interview guide. Data analysis uses the Collaizzi method. The research produces 4 themes, namely: (1) mother's knowledge about immunization (2) Information about immunization, (3) mother's reasons for not providing immunization and (4) mother's expectations regarding immunization. The conclusion obtained from this research is that providing immunizations to children is influenced by the mother's lack of knowledge, mother's concerns about side effects of immunization, mother's views regarding immunization, family support, and support from health workers. It is suggested for health workers to pay more attention and be more active in providing health education and health promotion regarding the importance of immunization for children so that there are no skewed views on the side effects of immunization.
