    Abstract
    Prospective brides need to maintain their health as an element of wedding preparation. The nutritional health status of the prospective brides is a reflection of the their physical health regarding the fulfillment of nutritional needs in their hody. Nutrition may affect the reproductive health of the prospective bride. Reproductive health is needed for preconception preparation, pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of e-booklet education on the level of knowledge about balanced nutrition of the prospective brides in Hamparan Perak Village. The research design uses a quasi experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design approach involving 33 prospective brides. The sampling technique uses a non-probability technique with a total sampling method. The educational media used is e-booklet, an electronic book that can be opened anytime and anywhere so that it can be read easily by the prospective bride. The research instrument is a questionnaire used to determine the characteristics and level of knowledge of prospective brides regarding balanced nutrition. Data analysis uses the Wilcoxon test. The research results show that before being given education, the majority of prospective brides have sufficient knowledge about balanced nutrition (39.4%). After being given education, the majority of prospective brides have good knowledge about balanced nutrition (72.7%). The results of the knowledge statistical test show a P value <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of e- booklet education on the level of knowledge about balanced nutrition of prospective brides. Health services are expected to increase the provision of education to prospective brides to increase knowledge and reduce the risk of health problems in prospective brides.
