dc.description.abstractWorkload, burnout, distress are closely related to nurse performance, because with increasing workload, burnout, distress allows decreased nurse performance. The objective of study was to determine the effect of workload, burnout, distress on nurse performance after the covid-19 pandemic at Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem mental hospital. This research was using a quantitative type with a causal associative design. The population in this study were nurses at Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem mental hospital, totaling 184 people with a sample in the study of 65 people. Data collection used was by using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression. The results showed that workload and distress affect the performance of nurses after the Covid-19 pandemic at Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem Mental Hospital Medan while burnout has no effect on the performance of nurses after the Covid-19 pandemic at Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem Mental Hospital Medan. Workload, burnout and distress together affect the performance of nurses after the Covid-19 pandemic at Prof. Dr. M. Ildrem Mental Hospital Medan. Hospital need to pay attention to workload elements that can affect nurses' performance, as well as explore nurses' individual abilities, provide opportunities for nurses to be creative and self-actualize in order to reduce burnout and screen psychological problems in nurses regularly to support nurses working in mental hospitals.en_US
