    Abstract
One of the biggest contributors to climate change is coal-fired power plants. The impact of environmental damage due to PLTU emissions is most felt by communities that depend on natural resources for their survival. In dealing with this problem, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Yayasan Srikandi Lestari play a role as a counterweight and controller in the development process carried out by the government. With a community-oriented approach, the foundation seeks to create more equitable and sustainable change. This research aims to analyze the community organizing strategy carried out by Yayasan Srikandi Lestari in advocating climate change issues. Community organizing is one of the methods in social work (mezzo intervention) that aims to bring change through three main approaches: locality development, social planning, and social action. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with interview, observation, and documentation techniques to collect data. The results showed that the strategy implemented by Yayasan Srikandi Lestari refers to Rothman's approach, which includes locality development, social planning, and social action. This strategy is carried out by utilizing the categorization of community action goals, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. In its implementation, the foundation emphasizes participatory and humanist principles as the basis for community organizing. The campaigns include online campaigns on social media and direct campaigns on the streets. This research recommends that Yayasan Srikandi Lestari develop more systematic intervention stages and adopt broader community intervention principles to increase campaign effectiveness and strengthen community independence in environmental advocacy.
