dc.description.abstract | Xylitol is a natural sweetener that is often used as a sugar substitute because it has a low glycemic index and does not cause tooth decay. In addition to health benefits, xylitol is also increasingly in demand because it comes from natural sources. One of the potential raw materials for xylitol production is corn cobs.
