Prarancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Bio-Char dari Kulit Nanas dengan Proses Pirolisis Lambat (Slow Pyrolysis) Kapasitas Produksi 50.000 Ton / Tahun
Preleminary Design of Bio-Char Production from Pineapple Peel by Slow Pyrolysis Process with Production Capacity 50,000 Tons / Year
Abstract
Bio-char is a solid material formed from the carbonization of biomass, commonly called “activated charcoal”. Biomass that can be used to make Bio-char can come from several agricultural and forestry wastes.
The preliminary design of bio-char manufacturing plant using pineapple peel as the raw material is planned with a capacity of 50,000 tons/year and will operate for 330 days a year. The plant is planned to be located in Bumi Nabung District, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. The purpose of the stearic acid plant design is to apply chemical engineering knowledge, including mass balance, energy balance, equipment specifications, chemical engineering operations, utilities, and other aspects of chemical engineering.
