Pengaruh Pemberian Tepung Daun Singkong (Manihot esceluanta) pada Pakan Ikan Komersil dan Feeding Rate terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus)
The Effect of Giving Cassava Leaf Flour (Manihot Esceluanta) to Commercial Fish Feed and Commercial Fish Feeding Rate on the Growth of Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus)
Abstract
Nile tilapia is a type of freshwater fish that has a relatively high consumption value. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of adding cassava leaf flour to commercial feed with different feeding rates on the growth of Nile tilapia. This research was conducted from October to December 2023. The research method used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with three factors: the first factor being the addition of cassava leaf flour, fish meal, and commercial feed at varying doses. The treatments used in this study were S1 (91% commercial feed, 9% cassava leaf flour), S2 (90% commercial feed, 10% cassava leaf flour), and S3 (89% commercial feed, 11% cassava leaf flour). The feeding rates used were 3%, 4%, and 5%. The study was conducted over 60 days to observe weight gain, length growth, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), survival rate (SR), and water quality. The results showed that the effect of adding cassava leaf flour to the feed had a very significant effect on length growth and weight gain (P≤0.01). The effect of different feeding rates on length growth and FCR was also very significant (P≤0.01) and had an excellent survival rate.
