Kajian Variasi Sudut Kemiringan (Slope) Panel Surya terhadap Lama Pengisian Baterai VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) pada Alat Penyemprot Punggung (Knapsack Sprayer) Elektrik
Study of Solar Panel Slope Angle Variations Regarding the Duration of Charging VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) Batteries on Electric Knapsack Sprayers
Abstract
Solar panels are used to convert sunlight energy into electrical energy that can be used to charge VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) batteries the electric back sprayer is designed using several tools including 20 Wp monocrystalline solar panels, solar charger controller (SCC) XH-M604, and batteries VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) 12V 8Ah. This research is to obtain wind direction, solar panel tilt angle, and best battery charging time. This research uses a 3-factor Randomized Group Design (RAK) method, first factor of cardinal direction consists of A1 = North direction 360°, A2 = South direction 180°, and A3 = East 90°. The second factor of the solar panel tilt angle consists of P1 = 0°, P2 = 10°, and P3 = 20°. The third factor of battery charging time consists of T1 = 1 hour, T2 = 3 hours, and T3 = 5 hours. From the research results can be concluded that the highest cardinal direction is in the south, the angle of inclination of the solar panels is highest at an angle of 10°, and the highest charging time at 3 hours (12:00 WIB).
