Industry is something that continues to increase in Indonesia from year to year. The continuous development of industry in Indonesia will certainly play a major role in national development and economy. With the advancement of national development and economy, it will certainly increase the welfare of the community. The development of industry in Indonesia is partly due to the abundance of natural resources managed in Indonesia. One of the natural resources that can drive industrial development in Indonesia is fertilizer, considering that Indonesia itself is an agricultural country whose economic sector is supported by the agricultural sector. The main objective of this preliminary plant design is to provide a technical and economical overview of establishing a fertilizer plant in Indonesia utilizing the Mixed Acid Route Process. The Mixed Acid Route Process used in this design consists of several stages, including Neutralizing, Granulating, Drying, Screening, Cooling, and Coating. The Mixed process is requires relatively low energy, involve shoerter stages compare other process, and Indonesia has the required materials which makes the process more economical. Based on economic analysis, this factory requires an investment capital of Rp.3,221,476,204,715.460 and production costs per year are Rp. 3,441,564,469,593.84. With the selling price of the product per year of Rp. 3,989,453,487,175, in this factory planning will obtain a net profit per year of Rp. 388,343,841,210.32 with a profit margin of 12.98%; break even point of 40.29%; return on investment of 12%; pay out time for 8.30 years; return on network of 10.29%; internal rate of return of 29.49%. Based on these result, the plan tis considered feasible for establishment.
