Dampak Corporate Social Responsibility PT Indopalma Agro Persada dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Lokal

Abstract

One of the companies that implements the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is PT Indopalma Agro Persada, Perbaungan, Serdang Bedagai. The awareness of companies that have social responsibility has a great impact as well as companies that do not have awareness of social responsibility also have an impact on the environment, society and even the company's image. Therefore, the researcher wants to reveal the impact of PT Indopalma Agro Persada's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in improving the welfare of the local community in one of the villages, namely Sei Sijenggi Village, and this study also wants to see PT Indopalma Agro Persada's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in accordance with the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The goal is to find out the impact of PT Indopalma Agro Persada's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in improving the welfare of the local community. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques with observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. The results of this study show that the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Indopalma Agro Persada does not have a positive impact on improving the welfare of the people of Sei Sijenggi Village. Meanwhile, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that has been carried out by PT Indopalma Agro Persada is not in accordance with the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
