This research examines the phenomenon of voltage drops in the electrical system of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan's Talang Jimar Power Plant. Voltage drops are a major problem in electrical system operations because they can result in decreased performance of electrical equipment and even damage to the system as a whole. This research aims to analyze the factors that cause voltage drops and provide recommendations for improvements to improve the quality of the voltage received by the load. The research methods used include field surveys, operational data collection, and data analysis using ETAP 12.6 simulation software. The research results show that the cable size factor is the main cause of voltage drops at the Talang Jimar Power Plant. Improvement recommendations include optimizing cable size as well as improvements to minimize voltage drops. It is hoped that this research can contribute to improving operational efficiency and reliability of the PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Talang Jimar Power Plant electrical system, as well as providing guidance for the energy industry to overcome challenges related to voltage drops in the electrical system.
