Efektivitas Program Pengembangan UMKM di Pusat Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah (P3UD) Deli Serdang

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) refer to business groups that have a significant role in the Indonesian economy. The development of UMKM is the responsibility of each region, because this sector has positive developments in national economic development efforts. Ensuring the improvement of Program Pengembangan UMKM is very important to ensure the sustainability and growth of the sector. Apart from the various programs that have been implemented, this study aims to evaluate the program by looking at the effectiveness of the existing Development Program to determine the performance of the program, obstacles and also existing strategies in improving the welfare of UMKM in P3UD Deli Serdang. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type and has 8 (eight) Informants. The findings of the study based on the theory of Program Effectiveness Sutrisno (2007), show that the aspect of understanding the program has been effective. In terms of being on target, it has been effective which is only focused on MSMEs and entrepreneurs in Deli Serdang Regency. In terms of being on time, it has been effective, the program has been running according to the specified time since 2019. The aspect of achieving goals has been effective, This can be seen from the increase in capacity of MSMEs. The aspect of real change has been effective. With the implementation of this program, MSMEs can increase their income, product quality, production efficiency, and save production costs. The results of the study showed that the Program Pengembangan UMKM at P3UD Deli Serdang was effective. MSMEs become more productive, competitive, innovative and competitive. In addition, MSMEs can also increase their income and their products are better known by the public or consumers through this program. Then this program provides MSMEs with a marketing space which is an important asset because it can accommodate MSMEs to be able to develop.
