Faktor -Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Minat Generasi Z terhadap Profesi Di Sektor Pertanian (Kasus : Desa Balai Kasih, Kecamatan Kuala, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara)

Abstract

Sustainable agricultural development relies heavily on the role of human resources. The younger generation is less interested in the agricultural sector due to the younger generation's interest in agricultural fields that are less promising, so that interest in developing agricultural potential for the future is not embedded in the mindset of the younger generation. Therefore, the factors influencing interest in professions in the agricultural sector need to be researched. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence Generation Z's interest in professions in the agricultural sector. This research uses 7 variables including social status, income, future security, access to land, access to capital, career development and technological innovation. The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partical Least Square (PLS) approach with Microsoft Excel tools. The results of this research show that the results of this research show simultaneously that social status, income, future security, access to land, access to capital, career development and technological innovation influence Generation Z's interest in professions in the agricultural sector.
