The manufacturing industry often involves work with a high risk of occupational accidents, and employees tend to act as followers who merely comply with leadership directives and standard operating procedures established by the company. This study aims to analyze the influence of occupational health and safety as well as the implementation of transactional leadership on employee performance through work discipline at PT Wira Duta Fiberglass Deli Serdang. The population in this study consisted of all 46 employees of the company, and the sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique, resulting in all employees being included. The data were analyzed using multivariate analysis with structural equation modeling (SEM) supported by the Smart PLS-4 software. The study revealed that the most significant and positively influential factor on employee performance was occupational health and safety, followed by transactional leadership and work discipline. Transactional leadership was found to be the most significant positive factor influencing work discipline, while occupational health and safety had no significant impact on work discipline. Work discipline was able to mediate the relationship between transactional leadership and employee performance but was unable to mediate the relationship between occupational health and safety and employee performance.
