The Influence Of Corporate Social Responsibility On Employee Job Satisfaction At PT. Medan Sugar Industry
Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
on employee job satisfaction at PT. Medan Sugar Industry. Internal CSR includes
employee welfare programs, career development, transparent communication,
conducive work environment, and work-life balance. This study uses quantitative
methods with questionnaires and linear regression analysis. The results of the study
indicate that the implementation of internal CSR has a positive and significant effect
on employee job satisfaction. Internal CSR programs, such as welfare benefits,
training and mentoring, open communication, comfortable work environment, and
flexible work-life balance, have been shown to increase job satisfaction both
physically and psychologically. Employees feel more comfortable, protected,
appreciated, and motivated in their work. These findings support the theory that
internal CSR is not only a company obligation, but also an effective strategy to
increase employee productivity and loyalty. Company management is advised to
continue to improve internal CSR programs as part of a human resource
management strategy, focusing on employee welfare financially, mentally, and
socially.
