dc.description.abstractRice is one of the leading commodities in Indonesia. This is because processed rice in the form of rice is used as a staple food for domestic people. This study analyzed the development of rice farming using the minapadi system in Meat Village, which combines rice and fish cultivation in one agricultural land. Meat Village has great agricultural potential with abundant natural resources, but farmers in this village still face challenges in increasing productivity due to the use of chemicals that damage the environment. Therefore, innovation and effective strategies are needed to increase agricultural output and farmer welfare. Through SWOT analysis, this study identified internal and external factors that influence minapadi farming and developed alternative development strategies. The results of the study showed that farming with the minapadi system has strengths and opportunities that can be utilized to improve agricultural conditions in Meat Village. Through AHP analysis, researchers obtained one of the main strategies proposed, namely continuous training and extension for farmers to improve their knowledge and skills in implementing the minapadi system. This research is expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of sustainable agriculture in Indonesia, as well as being a reference for government policies in supporting farming in rural areas.en_US
