    Abstract
    Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) is an institution tasked with providing guidance to Juvenile Offenders. The coaching period leading up to release is not an easy one for Juvenile Offenders the majority of them future anxiety. One of the interventions that has been given to overcome psychological problems in Juvenile Offenders is psychodrama and the use of characters from the story in psychodrama has also been proven effective. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of psychodrama intervention based on the superhero stories of former prisoners in reducing future anxiety of Juvenile Offenders. This research used a quantitative approach with an experimental method by providing 3 psychodramas with 120 minutes duration for 3 weeks. The participants of this research amounted to 27 Juvenile Offenders (N = 27) who had been given a future anxiety scale. This research used a one group pretest-posttest design method so that all participants received treatment and were given the future anxiety scale again. Data were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test using the JASP computer program. The results of data analysis showed that psychodrama based on superhero stories of former prisoners was effective in reducing future anxiety in Juvenile Offenders (W = 316.5, p <.0001).
