Aggressiveness is the desire to harm others by expressing negative emotions either physically or verbally to achieve desired goals. With self-control, a person can manage their actions to reduce aggressiveness. Self-control is an individual's ability to determine their behavior by considering morals, values, and societal rules, thereby overriding spontaneous urges and responses that have become habitual, leading to positive behavior. This study involved 344 students from the University of North Sumatra as research subjects. The approach used is quantitative, with measurement tools in the form of the Self-Control Scale (KD) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ). The obtained data was processed using simple linear regression analysis with a p-value of <0.001 or <0.05 and a correlation value (R) = 0.461 and (R²) = 0.212. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, indicating a negative relationship between self control of 21.2% towards aggressiveness among students of the University of North Sumatra.en_US
