Analysis Of Liquidity And Solvency Ratios To Measure The Finansial Performance Of Pt Telkom Indonesia Tbk For The 2020–2024 Period
Abstract
The dynamic changes in the economy have significantly impacted the direction of investment in Indonesia, prompting investors to be more selective in choosing companies with strong financial conditions. PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, as one of the major companies listed on the national stock exchange, is the subject of this study. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the financial performance of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk by analyzing its liquidity and solvency ratios during the period from 2020 to 2024. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research method and is conducted through documentation and literature studies. Using a case study approach, the research provides a detailed and in-depth analysis of the company's financial statements. The data used in this study are obtained from the capital market reference center via the official website www.idx.co.id, specifically from the financial reports of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. The results indicate that the average current ratio is 78.8% and the quick ratio is 77.4%, both of which fall below the industry standards of 200% and 150%, respectively. This suggests a low ability of the company to meet its short-term obligations. However, in terms of solvency, the company shows relatively good performance. The average debt to asset ratio (DAR) is 47.1%, exceeding the industry standard of 35%, indicating a high reliance on debt. On the other hand, the average debt to equity ratio (DER) is 88.6%, which is still below the industry standard of 90%, indicating a relatively stable capital structure. Thus, although the company has low liquidity, its capital structure and long-term financial capability remain stable.
