Animal husbandry is one of the subsectors that significantly influences the Indonesian economy, particularly poultry farming, making the need for poultry feed, namely corn, important.Corn livestock feed can be produced using a hammer mill machine. However, there are complaints from consumers regarding the use of this machine, namely that the screens often break and the assembly and replacement of the screens take a relatively long time. This results in the filter needing to be replaced too often and incurs significant costs. This research was conducted to obtain consumer complaints about the sieve part in the actual hammer mill machine using Quality Function Deployment and to propose a redesign for the hammer mill machine by integrating Axiomatic Design and Design for Manufacture and Assembly. The results of the Quality Function Deployment analysis indicate that the screen part and lower body are the focus of improvement, with design targets being durability, service life, and the number of components based on customer needs. The integration of Axiomatic Design and Design for Manufacture and Assembly resulted in a product improvement design by replacing the filter material from mild steel SPHC to ASTM A36, with the advantage of an assembly and filter replacement system that is easy and quick through the application of snap-fit.The application of integration results in an increase in information content value by 0.1216 bits, a reduction in the number of components by 5.41%, a decrease in assembly time by 5.99%, an increase in design efficiency by 1.01%, and a reduction in manufacturing costs by 0.56%.The integration results show a product that meets functional and manufacturing requirements.en_US
