Employees are a valuable asset for an organization, and innovation at work is a key factor in achieving competitive advantage. This study examines the influence of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior with knowledge sharing as a mediating variable. The sample was selected using convenience sampling method, namely 170 participants who held the position of unit manager at PT Pegadaian Regional Office I Medan. Then, the data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) in the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between variables. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on innovative work behavior and knowledge sharing. Furthermore, knowledge sharing can mediate the influence between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior partially. These findings provide implications for organizations to further encourage transformational leadership and knowledge sharing practices to increase employee innovation in the work environment.
