    Abstract
Real-time monitoring of Hybrid Power Plants is a crucial aspect in increasing their operational efficiency and reliability. This plant is designed to optimize the use of renewable energy in a sustainable manner, especially in dealing with fluctuating weather conditions to ensure more stable energy availability. This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring system to monitor the main parameters of hybrid power plants that integrate picohydro and photovoltaic technology. This system uses an ESP32 microcontroller connected to the internet network to send real-time data to websites based on IP addresses. Through this interface, users can monitor voltage, current, turbine rotation, water discharge and light intensity remotely. Experimental results show that the monitoring system can record and display data accurately with minimal deviation compared to conventional measuring instruments. The output voltage of solar panels ranges from 18.2–21 V, while the buck-boost converter stabilizes the voltage at 13.68–14.5 V for solar panels and 14.0–14.32 V for picohydro. After synchronization, the output voltage of the hybrid system is in the range of 14.07–14.32 V with a current of 1.30–1.35 A. The successful implementation of this system proves the effectiveness of IoT-based monitoring in increasing the energy management efficiency of Hybrid Power Plants. By accessing real-time data via the website, this system supports more flexible, responsive and adaptive monitoring, so that it can optimize the performance of hybrid power plants in a sustainable manner.
