dc.description.abstractThis research aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance at the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Community Empowerment and Population Control and Family Planning (DP3APMPPKB) of Medan City. The background of this research is based on the importance of the role of leadership in encouraging employee performance, especially in the context of public organizations that have high service demands. Optimal employee performance is the key to organizational success in achieving strategic goals and providing quality public services. The research method used is quantitative method with survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to DP3APMPPKB employees of Medan City. The population in this study were all employees of DP3APMPPKB Kota Medan, and samples were taken using certain techniques to ensure representativeness. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, including regression tests to test the hypothesis of the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at DP3APMPPKB Medan City. This finding indicates that the dimensions of transformational leadership such as idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration, play an important role in increasing employee motivation, commitment, and productivity. The implication of this study is the need to strengthen transformational leadership practices in public organizations to improve employee performance and the quality of public services.en_US
