    Abstract
    This study discusses the function and impact of Sake in the Anime "Naruto". The purpose of this study is to describe the function and impact of sake in the anime "Naruto". The data sources used come from the anime "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuden". Functional theory is a theory used to analyze relationships between characters, describe cultural values, and social dynamics in narratives. Impact theory is used to determine a change in behavior or attitude resulting from policy output. Anime Naruto and Naruto Shippuden sake has a significant impact on several aspects, including resistance techniques and social interactions. Although not all scenes explicitly describe sake, the use of sake in the Naruto anime has positive and negative impacts. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method is carried out by documentation study. The results of the analysis of the Naruto anime state that the research data is visual and verbal data (text) collected from video clips contained in the Naruto Anime. Sake in the Anime "Naruto" not only functions as an entertainment element but also as a tool to describe relationships between characters, focus cultural values, and provide interesting social dynamics in the narrative. Overall, the function covers a variety of meanings depending on the context, but generally refers to the role or usefulness of something in a larger system. In the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime, sake has two impacts, namely positive and negative impacts. Although not all scenes explicitly depict sake, the use of sake in the Naruto anime has a positive impact, namely an impact on socialization. The negative impact is that consuming excessive sake can make you drunk and play with women.
