Background: Stroke is a disease condition caused by the cessation of blood flow to the brain due to blockage or rupture of blood vessels. The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score is an accurate standard neurological assessment method and is a predictor of acute intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Early diagnosis of ICH hemorrhage and identifying the etiology of ICH are very important. The most common neuroimaging modalities in acute conditions are non-contrast computer tomography (NCCT) and CT angiography (CTA). Objective: To analyze the relationship between the GCS and the volume of intracerebral hemorrhage on non-contrast CT scans. Methods: This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional design conducted at the Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan from September 2024 to March 2025. Results: The average GCS score was 13.03 + 2.371. Most patients with a good GCS score category were 20 people (66.7%) followed by a moderate category of 6 people (20.0%) and a poor category of 4 people (13.3%). If divided based on the location of bleeding, the average GCS in the lobar location was 12.42 + 3.059 and the average GCS in the non-lobar location was 13.44 + 1.756. The average volume of intracerebral hemorrhage in the study sample was 26.92 + 40.695 ml. Conclusion: There is a very strong negative correlation between the ADC value on MRI examination of the head with contrast and the consistency of meningioma based on histopathology at Adam Malik Hospital.
