Analisis Makna dan Penggunaan Partikel Lokatif Bahasa Jepang dalam Game Genshin Impact
Abstract
This study is focused on the analysis of the meaning and usage of particles of
Japanese language that have locative semantic role. This study uses the theories of
grammatical meaning and semantic role with semantic approach to describes the
types, meaning and use of locative case particles. The study’s data is taken from an
adventure-themed game, which is Genshin Impact, where many locative particles can
be found. The research method that is used in this study is descriptive method and
qualitative approach. The technique to collect the data is observation method to
identify the texts in the dialogues that use locative particles. From the results of this
study, active locative particle de and stative locative particle ni can be found in the
game of Genshin Impact, while sousure locative particle kara is not found. The
conclusions obtained were that both locative particles de and ni only have the
grammatical meaning of “di” in the Indonesian language, which is in accordance to
its semantic role to indicate placement. Locative particle de has two usages, which are
to indicate a place where an activity is performed and to indicate a placement in a
noun sentence. Locative particle ni has two usages, which are to indicate the
placement of something’s or someone’s presence and to indicate a place where an
occurence or situation is happening.
